Breakfast Debate: Bringing Europeans Online - The 2013 Digital Agenda Target
08:00am, 26 Mar 2013, Salon des Députés, European Parliament
Hosted by MEP Hübner
2013 is here and still around 9 million European households remain unconnected to the Internet. With funding for broadband infrastructures under the Connecting Europe Facility having been dramatically downscaled by the Council and the focus now on advanced digital services, this debate will ask what the European Commission, regional authorities and industry are doing to ensure that access to those digital services is available to all, especially key communities such as farmers, who are becoming dependant on digital services to compete in the marketplace.
